let it glow

Yesterday was my favorite event of the holidays - the Christmas Fireworks here in Manhattan Beach. We got a late start because of me, but biked down in time to grab a quick spaghetti dinner at the fire department. The bigger problem was getting caught in a coffee shop getting hot chocolate as the fireworks started, but we made it out for most of them. Unlike the last couple years, the weather was perfect and the skies were clear. The fireworks always seem better than I remember the year before, which is certainly nothing to complain about. 364 days to go til the next ones.
