stand for change

I go to a great effort to keep political content to a minimum on the blog, but today will be an exception. I went to a political rally today. I can't think of the last time, if ever, that I've been inspired to go to a political rally. Yeah, Oprah was there, but she wasn't the star of the show (and to her credit, she knew it.) The surprise appearance from our First Lady may have grabbed the headlines, but the star of the show was an amazing and eloquent Michelle Obama. It was the first time I have heard her give a speech. It was impressive. But of course, this is different, because I'm finding this isn't about politics, but a movement. If it were just politics, then it would be easy to choose the politics of the past that were perfectly fine, albeit sometimes ugly; but this time we also have a choice for a new and different future. Only you can choose the truth that is right for you, but if you haven't found yours yet, I invite you to view the videos in the links below. And if you are so moved, join me in bucking all the reasons we're told we can't make this choice, and stand for change.
