cruising

So I'm on the road again. Or the water. I'm back in Ft Lauderdale for a rodeo weekend, but the highlight of my day was an unexpected surprise. My next door neighbors from the beach, Jeanette and Jeremy , live in Ft Lauderdale for half the year, so I dropped an email to let them know I was in town. Instead of grabbing lunch, they asked if I wanted to join them on what was an errand for them - moving their parents/in-laws boat down to their house. That meant a couple hours of cruising on the Intercoastal Waterway (I think thats right), part of the amazingly extensive network of canals that define South Florida. Definitely not a bad way to spend a day in Florida.
