dad & lester
Every now and then I just steal a post from my Dad's blog for my own. It doesn't happen too often, because his blog is mostly scientific dna stuff that I can't even begin to understand, but in between are glimpses of regular life. Mom and Dad are into Old Time Music, which is a genre that to most of us would sound like bluegrass. It is most common in Appalachia and they go to a lot of Old Time Music workshops, festivals and get-togethers in West Virginia, so have made a lot of friends there. A couple weeks ago he went to see his friend Lester, who's wife of 72 years had recently passed away. When it comes to the more meaningful things, Dad can always say a lot with very little.
